IBM Volunteers provides IBM employees and retirees with resources to help them engage with community organizations and schools, expanding the impact of their volunteer efforts.
Employees who can contribute to the campaign can also volunteer, as well as employees who cannot contribute at this time.
Although the ECCC is primarily a fundraising campaign to support the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that reach out to agencies in our communities, volunteerism is encouraged.
IBM.org is a public web site that transforms the giving and volunteer experience for retired IBMers by providing a single destination to learn about and actively participate in IBM’s social impact efforts. IBM.org is a key component of IBM’s new giving strategy – one that is more global, more flexible and more focused than ever – helping to ensure greater impact in areas that are important to you as well as closely align to our corporate strategy such as education and skills; health; and disaster preparedness and response.
Later this fall, we expect to roll out the IBM.org and the new IBM Volunteers site to all retirees. This will provide you access to volunteering and giving opportunities all housed in one place and tailored to what is important to you. Stay tuned for that pending announcement!
